Growing Bulbs Indoors and Out - for Beginners and the Seriously Smitten
P
resentation by Art Wolk

Saturday, October 19 at 11 am

Falls Library, 3501 Midvale Avenue

Learn how to grow tulips, daffodils, crocuses, and the rest of their spring-blooming relatives indoors, all winter long, when the view outside your window is snow! This presentation will help both novices and “seriously-smitten” bulb forcers to learn how to successfully force a wide variety of bulbs indoors.

He will also give tips on planting bulbs for your best-ever spring garden.

Art Wolk has more than thirty years of experience in growing and exhibiting bulbs for the Philadelphia Flower Show, where he twice won the Grand Sweepstakes Award as the top individual competitor. He now serves as a judge for the Flower Show.

He has been called the “Dave Barry of garden writing” and combines a sense of humor with clear, concise information in a presentation that will keep your attention and give you the knowledge and confidence to succeed.
