Gardens and Houses of Fairmount Park with Lucy Strackhouse Wednesday, June 23 at 2 pm Via Zoom
Lucy Strackhouse recently retired as Senior Director of Preservation and Property Management at the Fairmount Park Conservancy where she managed historic house programs, leasing, and architectural conservation programs in Fairmount Park. Prior to her current role at the Conservancy, Ms. Strackhouse served as Executive Director of the Fairmount Park Historic Preservation Trust. She will cover lesser-known parks and historic houses, from South Philadelphia to the Northeast, as well as familiar ones located in the main part of Fairmount Park. Participants will receive a list of the gardens and homes, with websites for more information.
