Workshop presented by the Occupational Therapy program of Thomas Jefferson – East Falls Campus to help caregivers and others help their families and friends. Even if you are not a caregiver now, you may be in the future – or you may find that you need such help yourself!

The training will include demonstrations of equipment and hands-on practice with a vehicle.

Learn how to

  • Safely help others on steps, curbs, chairs, cars
  • Use walkers, canes, wheelchairs, shower chairs, grab bars, and commodes
  • Help someone in and out of a vehicle safely

The program will be presented by Monique Chabot, Assistant Professor, and her graduate OT students.
