School Library Project Mifflin School has been without a librarian for years. We now staff the library on Monday and Friday mornings and afternoons (as the school schedule allows) - reading to children and helping them pick out books.
Required Clearances
We require participants in these programs to obtain clearances. A child abuse clearance and State Police records check are required. An FBI fingerprint report is also needed if you've lived in Pennsylvania for less than ten years. The school district also has a Volunteer Orientation video, and a couple more pieces of documentation.
